CHAPTER OF ATHA (ASSOCIATION OF TRADITIONAL HOOKING ARTISTS)
June 17, 2017
“Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.” Pablo Picasso
Newsflash: Change to the Chapter’s Executive Board: Bonnie Applebee is now the Chapter’s President. The board extends thanks to Marianne Jones for her service.
A big thank you to Sandra Grasso and all the other chapter members who helped on Memorial Day weekend ‘planting the seed’ of rug hooking at the Redlands Festival of Arts.
|June Program: Open hooking…bring your work in progress! Or start something new!|
ALL HANDS ON DECK!!! Sign up to help demonstrate at the Lavender Festival in Cherry Valley June 9, 10 & 11, and June 16, 17, & 18. Speak to Sandra Grasso about volunteering!
And…speaking of the Harvest Hook-in, it’s not too early to start thinking about Raffle Basket themes! If you aren’t interested in completing a basket, contributions of items (or $ for items) are gladly accepted! See Jane Artinian for raffle basket ideas!
