Christmas Party: Our annual Christmas Party will be held December 10 (the second Saturday of the month) from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm at Trinity Episcopal, in our usual room. It will be a potluck luncheon (the chapter is providing a ham) and we’ll have our usual ornament (or other item) exchange . If you plan to attend and did not sign up at the November chapter meeting, please contact Jean Hyman so she knows how many to expect. Jean’s number is 909-793-4879.
Date Festival news flash:
Janelle Leslie will be collecting your entry forms and hooked entries (if completed) for the Riverside County Date Festival at the December 10 Christmas meeting. Entry fee is $3 per item, and entries should be completed within the last two years. If you are not coming to the December meeting, but wish to participate, please make arrangements to have the form, fee and entries at the January 14 Retreat in Desert Hot Springs. |!!Reminder!! Darlene has arranged a 2017 field trip to the Miracle Springs Resort in Desert Hot Springs over Martin Luther King weekend of January 13, 14 and 15. We have a block of 10 rooms reserved, each with two queen beds. Saturday we’lll be hooking (you can come just for the day!); the rest of the time is on your own to relax, explore and hang out with friends. Room rates are $119/night (plus tax & fees). While our ATHA group meets the third Saturday, Angie’s class meets at the San Bernardino Senior Center every Wednesday morning. Janelle’s class meets at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Palm Desert each Monday.
